The attacks on ACORN were not two kids dressed up for Halloween and caught on hidden camera
They were purposeful and contrived and leading and intended to do harm to Barack Obama.

No, he is not part of ACORN.

He is a black man who was formerly a community organizer. That has become a right wing dog whistle. We all know that. The connection to ACORN is murky, but intended to incite more racially based fury. ACORN is both a target of opportunity and a surrogate for the president.

This is not even close to ending.

Hatred will increase. But this time it isn't grass roots. It is being fomented by big monied right wing interests. It serves their interests to have the Useful Idiots all fired up.

who will leave both ACORN and, by extension, Obama swinging in the wind.

The last time I witnessed such a coordinated attack on African Americans, I was 6-12 years old. It ended in assassination and riots. If we don't get out in front of this and actively support our community organizers... that is, those who support the least amongst us, then Democrats will again cede the progressive agenda for another 30 years.
