The elderly citizen had gone on a long diatribe about the failures of government-run health care, to much applause and enthusiastic shouting from the crowd. He concluded with: "Mr. Congressman, don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining."

"I wouldn't dignify you by peeing on your leg, it wouldn't be worth wasting the urine," Stark shot back. There was a mixture of cheers and boos in the audience. :wow: :wow: :wow:

That was sort of a messed-up thing to say, but it was said to a non-politician, so I guess that makes it OK.

5. I thought it was a bad thing to say even...

when the congressman was clearly insulted in front of everyone. I wouldn't talk to anyone, not even a congressman that way. Both are wrong but that person had it coming.

6. I don't like political calculation

I think some politicians calculate that they can get away with saying stuff like that because theire district tilts heavily one way. That's a shame. I always prefer killing people with kindness to saying nasty things.

I know that's probably an unpopular sentiment here, but there it is.
