If he wants to intimidate and posture like a mobster, then I see no reason not to treat him like one.

I know that you think that is stating the obvious. However, there are people who do have brains. They just hide them or use them for evil purposes. Then there are people like Joe. His brain just keeps his head from collapsing.

I have a friend who has to personally work with the Congresscritters at times. I asked her if Joe Wilson was really stupid. She said he was dumb as a stump.

I asked that after viewing the youtube clip of his message that he put out after the event asking for money. It was pitiful. There was nobody there. He read it in a soft monotone and I swear I could see the back of his head through his eyes.

That doesn't excuse him in the least. I just don't think he ever came close to reading anything, not even the nameplate on his desk. I think he was woolgathering, and Obama said something that penetrated to his one functioning brain cell.

Maybe it was some devious plan cooked up by the RW. I don't think they reacted because all of their brains were in neutral. Joe Wilson is "the accidental hero."
