1. i wasn't sure what he meant
did he mean BALANCED as in fiscally balanced (inputs = expenditures) or did he mean philosophically balanced?

it's ambiguous to me

He looks quite nervous to me.

8. He has reason to be nervous. He knows he is going against the will
of the majority of voters to favor corporate sponsors. His constituents know he is going against the will of the majority of voters to favor corporate sponsors. And he knows his constituents know he is going against the will of the majority of voters to favor corporate sponsors.

Whichever way this breaks, it has the potential to break his career.

3. Don't you appreciate how hard it was to get Insurance, Big Pharma and...

the Hospital Conglomerates to agree on a bill?

Many, many hours of closed meetings were needed to make that happen.

And you Radical Liberals want to upset the apple cart with a Public Option that all the above despise.

Shame....

7. A pure fool or a disgusting traitor to America and an embarrassment to our party.
Baucus MUST be made explain why he we make concession after concession to wrangle out not a single damn vote but to get a balance bill. A balance that the mainstream of the party doesn't care for but must be saddled with complete responsibility for? A balance that gives security to those even in the deep end of the middle class in rural areas but leaves those struggling to stay in their homes in the major metropolitan areas, despite knowing such people are the foundation of our party.

Baucus is crap.
