HE'S COMING FOR OUR FOOD.... Back during the presidential campaign, Barack Obama noted, "We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK." The comment, made 16 months ago, was obviously about over-consumption and America's role in the world.

A year and a half later, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) is worried. "President Obama said we can't eat as much food as we want and think the rest of the world will be okay about that, as if that matters to freedom-loving Americans," she told her colleagues from the House floor this week.

"Well, we just heard last week that the Federal Government now under the Obama administration is calling for a re-ordering of America's food supply. What is that going to mean? Now will the White House decide how many calories we consume or what types of food we consume?"

Yes, Michele, that's exactly what it means. In fact, ACORN will now be responsible for preparing all foods in all households. President Obama will appoint a "dinner czar" to make sure you don't skip your vegetables. If you do, a "death panel" will decide whether you qualify for dessert.

and he stopped by my house and personally confiscated my cheeseburger. He said it was for my own good and all, but I was kinda hungry, and I was really looking forward to eating it.

Now, I don't eat cheeseburgers all that much, so I didn't think it was such a big deal to have one once in a while, but those Secret Service guys looked like they meant business and I didn't want to cause any trouble, so I handed it over to him.

The only thing that really bothered me about the entire affair was when the president asked me if their was yellow, or spicy brown mustard on the cheeseburger, and I told him that I only use a nice brown mustard on my burgers. He gave me a thumbs up, and left.

As Marine 1 took off of my front lawn I swear to God I saw Mr. Obama eating my cheeseburger.

did say that some congressman was batshit crazy to my husband about a month ago. And the look he gave me was like "where did THAT come from?"

Kinda funny because we were in the military together and I'm sure he remembers the way we all talked back then. But growing up, having kids and having a civilian job certainly changes that. I need to watch and make sure that my language off the board doesn't get like my language on the board. Don't want to give my husband a conniption fit or anything. What IS a conniption, anyway?
