Henry Gibson (September 21, 1935 – September 14, 2009) was an American actor and songwriter, well known as a cast member of Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In and for his recurring role as Judge Clark Brown on Boston Legal.

That makes me very sad. I really liked him. He'll be best remembered for Laugh-In but he was quite amazing in Nashville.

6. Gee Whiz... Seems People Are Dropping Like Flies Lately! Actually I think
the flies are winning!! Everyday, it seems another person of "my era" or before is crossing over!

So sorry to hear, but there are times I think they may be lucky in a certain sense. I don't mean that to sound crass, it's just that things here on "planet earth" seems to want to rotate the wrong way at this point in time!!

I grew up in a home that played all of the Grand Old Opry stuff...I'm an expert on old-school Country & Western. Henry's portrayal of "Haven Hamilton," a pompous, self-absorbed "patriarch" of the scene was spot-on, and the delivery of that single line was so precise and deadly that I can still hear it, decades after seeing the film.

R.I.P., Henry.
