An interesting twist on considering health care options

This site is focused on living abroad. Here they talk about health care options in five countries.

I've lived in one city almost all of my life. I'd have to save money, travel to potential new homes to assess them, develop skill that would be useful. It'd take some years. Still considering it. This hemisphere (quadrisphere?) doesn't seem very stable overall.

5. No hemisphere (or quadrishphere :) ) seems stable. And they probably never have.

The countries on that list are not any worse than the US - just different and none as old. But take Italy as an example. They have had a series of governments and weren't even a country in the century before last. But the people have kept it going and livable. And even though the country has tilted right of late, the people remain the people. Again, no worse than the US, and in some ways better.

6. Yeah, that is exactly true.

Europe certainly has its own problems, the middle east or africa are obviously not places most would consider stable, even the far east has the regional threat of China looming enormous.

But real incomes and quality of life are on the decline here in the US. In some cases, dropping off FAST. And we've only kicked the can down the road with the economy. Add the racial tensions and we have the recipe for a very nasty conflict.

Everywhere is dangerous, but the US is more dangerous than before as its power wanes.
