updated 12:06 a.m. PT, Sat., Sept . 19, 2009

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A true fan of former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is paying $63,500 to have dinner with her.

Cathy Maples of Huntsville, Alabama, on Friday won the dinner in an Internet auction, which was a benefit for a charity that aids wounded veterans.

Maples says she fully supports the military and the men and women fighting for this nation.

Maples, who owns a defense contracting company, also says she's a "big advocate" for Palin, and would love to see her as president.

1. Of course she wants Palin to be President. She is a defense contractor.
Just think how much more work there would be for her if Palin were President!

3. Didn't Maples mean to actually say, "the military fully supports her"...
since she is a parasitical defense contractor?

She has way too much disposable income.

Oh...that's NOT former Vice President Dick Cheney. It's Cathy. Wow, if you look quick you would SWEAR it was Cheney. With the wig, of course.

9. And EVERY bit of that disposable income came out of OUR pockets
since she is a defense contractor, she makes her living by feeding at the public trough

7. You could have seen this one coming a mile away.
Maples says she fully supports the military and the men and women fighting for this nation.

Maples, who owns a defense contracting company, also says she's a "big advocate" for Palin, and would love to see her as president.

No doubt the woman is looking for (more) lucrative military contracts. Hey, war with Iran and North Korea ought to keep her in $63,500 dinners for a long time, right?

Republicans stink. The politicians, their supporters, and the whores who suck the blood out of the taxpayer's veins for no one's benefit other than their own. :puke:

14. well, it's also tax deductible, because the proceeds go to charity allegedly
but if it didn't, it would probably be a write off as a business expense.

19. They'll laughingly discuss torture while meat spews from their lips
and talk of killing inferior humans for profit. That's known as "family values" to republicans.
