I finally get it: The republicans are going through the five stages of grief.
They're still bitter about losing the White House and both houses of Congress. They've gone through the first stage - denial and they're in the second stage now - anger. And it doesn't look like they will be moving to the third stage anytime soon.

2. No, since conservatives are a black hole for logic, they will repeat the cycle ad nauseum

3. Come back in 10 years from now and see how things are then.
It would be foolish to dance on the grave of the GOP just yet. It ain't over til it's over.

5. I agree ... since I remember that the Democratic party was declared dead in November
2002 ...

and it took a clusterf*ck of biblical proportions to get the liberal media to finally start questioning Bush and going against him ...

The "liberal media" is not, and will not be, the "liberals'" friend, nor will it be for the Dems ...

The elections of 2006 & 2008 will probably end up being the blip ... with the "liberal media" backing the Democrats the way it does now ...

4. Sorry to tell you this......
....but I think republicans only have two stages of grief. Denial and anger. They have been programmed not to accept anything that is not GOP oriented.

7. Absolutely!
They have a "faith based" grief process. Denial and Anger, over and over and over again.
Call it Genesis and Revelations.
