Flooding, army corp, levees, southeast, wonder how many of these people are teabaggers

who don't want government except if their home or town is being flooded. This is the type of government socialism that we all need.

But I'm right smack in the middle of the flooding and I can assure you most of the people doing the rescuing are not associated with any government entity whether it's local, state or federal. It's simply neighbors helping neighbors.

4. someone is putting up road blocks or sending out rescue trucks

maybe not in your neighborhood but they are there and paid for by the government and our taxes

7. Funny search and resscue efforts are way up, as reported

by the state authorities.

Now if your neighbors are certified in swift water rescue and have the gear, the more power to them

If you are in a low risk area, relatively speaking, perhaps that is why you have not seen your local fire department doing what they do. It is called triage... look it up.
