An open apology to "Buying Thyme" and the DU community in general

NOTE TO MODS, this is in no way an attempt to continue anything, or to "call out" a DUer, other than to issue an honest apology.

"Buying Thyme:" I apologize for continuing our discussion beyond the issue at hand, and into the personal side of things. I wish I had stopped posting after my observations on the merit of the argument. I hope you will accept this in the spirit it is given, which is an honest one.

To DU-at-large: I apologize for not retaining the standards we try to maintain in my own discourse; it is not normal for me, and I apologize to you all.

5. I agree....
...I do not find a sincere apology like the one in the OP is "calling out" another DUer in a bad way. A sincere apology is a good thing, it mends fences, gives closure and lets people feel better.

No really, there are three characteristics I like about DUers:
1) They're intelligent and question everything;
2) They're funny, especially when it comes to puns;
3) They acknowledge that there are other people on this planet and act accordingly.

But you're proving to me you've haven't lost your touch of class no matter how low you sunk in the moment. This is a very nice post, Adsos. I know you to be an earnest and sincere person on the boards, so I hope Buying Thyme does take this in the spirit in which it's offered.

,...out of frustration or confusion or anger or misunderstanding, many (too many) times. I think the community and DU mods sort out rants of basic human-ness from the ill-hearted, power-mongering and abusive posts pretty dang well!!! That's my humble opinion.

Anyways,...I appreciate your apology even though I wasn't there to see your violation, if that means anything.
