Chuck Norris -- candidate for imbecile of the year
Edited on Thu Sep-24-09 11:25 AM by Cyrano
"Worst person of the year" would give him too much credit. And "Asshole of the year" needs to be reserved for someone like Glenn Beck, or the idiot from Ohio, John Boehner, or perhaps even the "You Lie" creature from South Carolina.

But I really believe that Chuck Norris is among one of the major walking, talking wingnut imbeciles infecting today's politics.

Liberal celebrities take ten tons of shit from conservatives every time they open their mouths. Yet, people like us say very little about Norris. Maybe we're afraid he'll karate-kick the hell out of us. Or maybe we just don't think he's worth talking about.

But this man has made such incredibly insane statements on the part of the Republican Party, someone should really drop a net on him.

Whatever. But many tens of thousands watch his reruns and think he's some kind of hero to be emulated. And this translates into votes. Norris has the right to say whatever he wants to. But like it or not, imbeciles like him really harm us all at election time. And in some congressional districts, he actually may be responsible for helping Republicans win.

Time we spoke up and labeled him for the imbecile he is.

3. Candidate? No need, he should simply be declared the winner by acclamation.
