Dear Democrats in Congress.. DO NOT HELP THE REPUBLICANS!

Investigate ACORN. They only want to claim that Obama didn't win the election due to ACORN voter fraud.

DON'T YOU DARE HELP THEM OR GIVE THEM ANY MONEY TO INVESTIGATE!

1. Isn't this a reason TO investigate?

To disabuse anyone of the notion that any possible wrongdoing by ACORN had anything more than a nominal effect on the election?

If said investigation were to be chaired by Republicans, I'd be more scared of it, but with us in charge, I'm really not concerned that we'll have Ken Starr, part II.

2. I think a lot will come out

during an ACORN investigation that the Republicans won't like - like the unedited version of the entrapment tapes, the tapes where the sleazy actors got their asses thrown out of ACORN offices and the police called on them.

ACORN didn't engage in voter fraud. Some of their employees engaged in voter registration fraud and ACORN reported it to the appropriate officials.

Obama won by 9 million votes. ACORN doesn't come close to having that kind of power.

5. Um... but wasn't Starr appointed by Janet Reno, Pres. Clinton's AG?

And wasn't she a Democrat?

With the Dems we have in Congress today - and considering how expediently they drafted and voted for blocking Federal funds to ACORN (and other corporations - a mistake they (Rep. Nadler, I believe, seems to want to rectify now but are still attempting to block federal dollars to ACORN)do you really trust the Democrats to do the right thing?

I don't and my fears are legit since, as I've noted already, they were super-quick to block money to ACORN but seem to need FOREVER to pass a public option for all.

Think about it.
