PA Pool Report: What The Obamas are doing while Police use piercing noise, pepper spray as G20
Source: Elites TV

Elites TV is unable to attend Obama’s arrival at Phipps Conservatory. Instead we are posting the PA Media Pool Report.

President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle arrived at Phipps Conservatory at 6:05 p.m. in a light rain. An aide sheltered the couple with an umbrella. Mr. Obama nodded to photographers and thanked an aide in the doorway before walking through the conservatory’s lower entrance.

1. Can someone tell me why the demonstrators must break windows
and create chaos for the city? That doesn't seem like a wise way to make a valid point.

So can someone explain why demonstrators need to wage war on PA police, fire, and other public employees, wage war upon legitimate businesses? What purpose is served, and how many people like me dismiss their message because of these tactics?

6. Actually COINTELPRO agent provocateurs. And no, I'm not joking. See Seattle WTO protests 1999

10. It's no longer technically called COINTELPRO, but that's the name people recogonize. See these links
Part 1 of a 3 part video. Full of local Seattle TV interviews with cops, business owners, and citizens. Also contains local news broadcasts, and footage from a town hall meeting where protesters (some look as old as 70) met to criticize the reaction of the police and question the ridiculous concessions given to the "anarchist" group who caused all the damage and commotion.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mAWslHmiok

Noam Chomsky on COINTELPRO - "COINTELPRO was a program of subversion carried out not by a couple of petty crooks but by the national political police, the FBI, under four administrations...by the time it got through, I won't run through the whole story, it was aimed at the entire new left, at the women's movement, at the whole black movement, it was extremely broad. Its actions went as far as political assassination."

Here's the interview it is from (COINTELPRO stuff starts at 6:56): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oG24vg8js4o

Here's some more info, I haven't fact checked all of it yet:

8. You assume that it's the demonstrators doing the window breaking
I wouldn't make that assumption.

3. Since we never saw any protesters when Bush was in charge,
doubtful I need to see them now all over the television.

Last time I checked, they are the antithesis of everything that works,
i.e., a Non-Violent but present mass movement.

5. Today it's just a few hundred anarchists and ultra-left grouplets protesting.

Tomorrow is the peaceful (provided the cops don't attack it) larger protest demonstration.
