WASHINGTON (CNN) -- U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized Thursday after falling ill in her chambers, the court confirmed.

Ginsberg, 76, felt faint, light-headed and fatigued about 4:50 p.m., around an hour after receiving a treatment for iron deficiency, the court said in a statement. She was monitored by an in-house physician, who performed blood tests and found her to be in stable health.

Her symptoms improved, though she was taken to the Washington Hospital Center as a precaution at about 7:45 p.m., according to the court statement.

8. Meh, the useless live forever too.
I got really upset, like resentful upset, at some folks around here who do nothing but drink, play golf, and go to dinner. Compared to my dad, these people are slugs. So why was he dead while someone whose only contribution to society is an amazing hand of bridge lives on into his nineties? There is no answer. So we accept.

George Bush will live to be a thousand.

9. So great is his prickishness
Bush will probably live to be a thousand and one. And Cheney, well, he never dies. Hell, he's on a roll right now. He probably hasn't had this much fun since he was that ancient Mesopotamian god of destruction.
