Rachel corrects the record on BULLSHIT ACORN reporting: 80% of stories false.

THANK YOU Rachel for tackling this issue.

ACORN is the largest organizing and social justice advocacy organization for working and low income Americans, i.e. poor people. This is the single and only reason why ACORN has been under sustained and continued assault by the right wing, and why the media has encouraged the frenzy. ACORN's agenda stands in direct conflict to the agenda of priviged interest, and unlike other advocacy groups, ACORN is actually large enough to wield significant political and organizing power.

Maddow, political analyst first and journalist figure second, who has a PHD in political science and has crafted a show that hires teams of expert researchers to do actual investigative political reporting, will be correcting the record and exposing the right wing campaign to discredit and marginalize the most powerful (and damn near only national) poor people "lobbying" organization - the one organization that gives advocacy and "lobbying" power to the poor.

People here who have swallowed the hype hook, line and sinker ought to be fucking ashamed of themselves. The fact that so many seem not to understand why ACORN is FOX NEWS' whipping boy and not question why it is that the right has for decades despised ACORN so much is incredibly embarrassing to me.

I have zero patience for people who are no doubt over-represented by the white, upper middle class demographic, condescendingly regurgitating right-wing talking points about ACORN, or swallowing a FOX NEWS narrative hook line and sinker and writing off an entire national social justice advocacy organization because of it. It's disgusting, and it reveals just how out of touch some people really are with the working class.

they did not mention a single questionable thing about the sting, all the while allowing the guy to play up his "liberal" side. he just wanted to do "REAL" journalism...
