5. Before Schumer, Kerry completely destroyed Enzi

Pulling in the staffer, Swartz?, to confirm why Medicaid might be better for many. (It was funny that so many Senators seemed math phobic when Schumer attempted to calculate the cost per person. )

Conrad was the worst - saying it would be interesting, but that he had nothing in the bill to pay for it - other than speaking of cutting the subsidies. Cantwell thinks there might be some way to drive down costs.

10. Yep - I should have said "arithmetic challanged"
(In fairness, I have a masters in math and never do calculations in my head - especially in public. My husband, with the same degree, is fantastic at that.)

13. Yeah me too
I don't know if my handle gives it away but I have an engineering degree and I rarely do math in my head anymore. I blame it on advanced calculus taking up space in my brain pushing out my ability to do simple math.

3. Off and on. Kyl, Bunning and Cornyn are making fools out of themselves.
'Jello Jay' is making a strong name for himself in my book though!

Looking forward to the up/down on the PO tomorrow.

17. Yes. Nearly every minute for the last 3 days. The only time I get anything done around
here is when they break for meals. It's fascinating and extremely informative. Baucus, Conrad and Rockefeller have impressed the hell out of me. It's better than anything else on TV. I wish every U.S. citizen was watching.
