Why did the G20 Summit protesters have to go nuts just as Pres and Mrs Obama showed up?

PITTSBURGH – Police fired canisters of pepper spray and smoke at marchers protesting the Group of 20 summit Thursday after anarchists responded to calls to disperse by rolling trash bins and throwing rocks.

The march turned chaotic at just about the time that President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama arrived for a meeting with leaders of the world's major economies.

The police are outnumbering the protesters and the majority of the protesters are not the idiots who are doing this.

There are many subcategories within the liberal ideology.

... except Libertarians on the Right actually do more damage because they're more subtle and removed from the action by being on TV...

And there are libertarians and anarchists on both side of the political spectrum.

I consider myself a small-l libertarian in that I agree we need fewer restrictions on "morality" and "lifestyle" laws, but I think the capital-L Libertarians are complete nutjobs who are promoting a form of sanctioned anarchy for no other reason than their own greed.

The point I was jokingly making was that Leftist Anarchists are quite vilified by the press and by many people (sometimes for good reason), whereas the "let's drown the government" crowd on the Right are quite anarchic but they all have cushy media and government jobs and are considered respectable. The sad part is, I don't think the anarchic Libertarians of the Right really understand what their dream of no-government, no-regulation, no-taxes would bring about, nor do I think they realized they are suckers for the people promoting that crap just to make a fast buck and get away.
