Bayou Prespective: Is CBS' "The Good Wife" Based on David Vitter Sexcapades?
Watched the pilot episode the other day after the new season of NCIS and found that it was eerily similar to a certain political situation here in Louisiana.

I am not sure if inspiration was drawn from a certain former New York Governor as well or solely from Senator David Vitter's exploits with prostitutes. However it brought about one question that I believe should be brought up in the dialogue between the candidates: did Senator Vitter use campaign funds, government funds, or his own personal money to pay for his prostitutes in New Orleans and D.C.

<snip>

I wonder if like on the show, "The Good Wife," Wendy Vitter slapped the mess out of Diaper Dave once they got behind closed doors....I hope so.

My hope of course is that this show is a hit and the people of Louisiana will watch the pilot episode above as well as tune in every week for an idea of what it must be like to be Senator Vitter.

Louisiana deserves much better and I hope that this and all the other damning evidence piling up against Vitter as to why he should not represent Louisiana will resonate among voters.

1. Does the show feature grown men getting their butts powdered and diapers changed
by prostitutes after they happily go pee-pee in them like Diaper Dave did?

2. Funny...the coming attractions made me think of Governor Spitzer here in NY
Guess there are so many possibilities the writers did not have to worry about being sued for libel by any one individual.

3. It struck me as generic -
the generic sex scandal. The whole thing was woefully predictable. I was disappointed in the show, and probably won't watch it again. Too formulaic for me.

I wonder is Slida (is that her name?) watched it................
