Well I just received my notice that my insurance is going up

9% to 1700.00 a month for family coverage......I'm not going to pay it. I'll look for something else.....I just can NOT afford it. Oh yeah, it was a Cadillac policy, but on my pinto budget I just can not afford it anymore. I was receiving it through my state employer when I was working but I have since retired and my $$$ just can not afford the premium. :cry:

It's terrible to keep getting notices that everything is going up except our salaries. I received my layoff notice from one of my jobs. I've still got the other so I have something but it sure forces me to rethink what it is I won't be paying when the time comes that I get half my income.

Try not to stress too much.
