A part-time census worker found hanging in a rural Kentucky cemetery was naked, gagged and had his hands and feet bound with duct tape, said an Ohio man who discovered the body two weeks ago. Authorities have also said the word "fed" was scrawled with a felt-tip pen across Bill Sparkman's chest, but they have released very few details about the case and said investigators have not determined if it was a homicide, suicide or an accident.

Federal, state and local authorities have refused to say if Sparkman was at work going to door-to-door for census surveys in the time before his death, but his Census identification tag was found taped to his body.

He was likely hanging out in a bad neighborhood, where suicides are prevailant amoung the poor and homeless. Hanging around places like that are bound to get you into trouble, especially if you party naked.

That the investigation is being conducted by State and Federal investigators, the locals are not part of it. The between the lines read is that the locals would lean towards their own.

There is zero in this case to imply that the locals are or would be 'favoring their own'.

are ya? The FBI knows how corrupt Clay County is and most local law enforcement agencies in the rural areas automatically call in the state troopers if there is a murder or rape involved. It's SOP.

Kindly cite your evidence that the locals are corrupt, and that such corruption is evident in this case.

It was a federal crime and, as such, federal police are the ones involved.
