some clothing is allowed for menstruation ... (and most naturists also recognize sanitary conditions, and insist on towels being placed under bottoms when seated no matter time of month or gender ...)

and the obvious jokes are sure to come about freezing various parts off ... but naturists are sensible about clothing where needed ... they tend to not send their kids out into the snow in bad weather without the proper attire ...

However, I've always found it strange that it is illegal for us to actually be ourselves the way nature made us in front of each other. We actually go to jail if we don't cover ourselves. It's kind of strange when you really think about it.

particularly good one at Haulover -- is one thing. A clothes-optional ordinance in Fargo in February would be questionable.

On beaches or other outside facilities, a bit of quite affordable landscaping should be all that's needed to allow nudists to enjoy the sun on one side and allow those who wish to keep their duds on to remain on the other.

If someone is naked in the Tiergarten in Berlin, for example, the city does not come to a grinding halt. People get over it. I think it's even legal. Life still appears to go on. People grocery shop. They fill prescriptions. They vote. They educate their kids. They walk their pooches.

So what the hell. I voted 'yes.'

I'm a big guy (6'2" 220 lbs) but there were some truly immense diners in there. Seeing them nude would definitely not improve my mood.

There aren't all that many who take advantage of the privilege, but it's certainly allowed. Of course, guys can't go without a shirt in a mall, so women can't either. Your own backyard? Sure, why not? Parks, beaches...but a restaurant, no. No shirt, no service kind of thing. Nothing has come to a screeching halt, either, but this is Canada.....

town across the river from where we live. The summer before last clothing optional was all the rage, then the town enacted an ordinance. Of course it was young, good looking people who had stripped down to begin with. I figured all it would take is a bunch of us who are older and uglier to take off our clothes and march around to cure the problem for good. I vote no! Most of the people I see on the street should not only be dressed, they ought to have bags on their heads.

I seen anyone taking advantage of it. Maybe at beaches? But I haven't been to the beach in a very long time.

I'm sort of on the fence about this. Not a good place to be when you're not wearing pants, I know....but anyway...

I don't know about other women, but I have never found the male equipment to be particularly attractive when it's on display. Show me a pair of well toned arms or trim waistline and nice (not large/gross) pecs, and I'd be perfectly happy.

When the #1 case against something is "Yuck...I might not want to see all that" then it is pretty clear there is little case to restrict an individual's rights. It's probably not a bad argument that any such restriction is unconstitutional.
