...... I saw one today that made me chuckle.

It was a black man, maybe my age (60s). The car was a rolling wreck of a thing. An ancient Japanese jobbie, one of the smaller ones like an old Corolla or Sentra or whatever.

It got my attention for the cross that was erected on the roof and held there with fishing line or some such. Then I noticed it was festooned with Obama stickers. And various and sundry left wing sloganed bumper stickers. But the best part was the hand lettered stuff, thanking God for MSNBC, Keith Olbermann, Ed Schultz and "Raquel". And one sign simply proclaiming the man's love for Tamron Hall.

I honked at him as I passed and waved. He honked back and smiled.

This was in one of the more backward areas near BWI airport ..... a necky place called Glen Burnie.

Try Front Royal, VA. Pretty sure the Shenandoah vally is where Cheney spent most of his time hiding the past years.

If not for the gorgeous mountains it would be freaking deliverance at times I swear.

2. That funny! I've only been to Glen Burnie a couple of times, and yeah
that description fits it. I actually have a client near BWI, but have no reason to go to Glen Burnie.

7. Would that I could!
I was passing through the area on the highway. I had missed lunch and needed to get a quick snack to soup up my blood sugar. I stopped at a gas station and saw this lad getting back on the highway as I was. The on-ramp splits for east and west. He went east. I went west. I dare say I will never see him again.

(Pssst ... tell Tamron I'm hot for her too! )

5. Lol! I was afraid to go near this post. Usually the multi-stickered cars
are driven by haters and other rabid rightwingers. And always the stickers are really mean-spirited, they brag about their guns, or they scream about being extremely, extremely proud of being 'American,' and usually all of the above. Your post made me smile. Thank you for sharing good news!

8. When I saw the cross on the roof, I was ready to flip him off.
Your assumptive conclusion about such cars matches mine exactly.

11. My favorite decorated car around here is a
Chevy Blazer...black with pink bumpers. It's festooned with wiccan stickers and all sorts of other new age and wymyn stuff. Last weekend I stopped at a garage sale and it pulled up at the same garage sale. The woman who stepped out of the Blazer was all smiles. I told her I really liked her ride. She just smiled bigger. I suspect there was herb involved somehow. I like it.

my stepdaughter could introduce you to some really necky people. Heck, I can show you some really necky people right here in Annapolis. Anne Arundel County is getting awfully red, if you know what I mean.

21. Check this car
It was painted by an artist in AZ, somewhere underneath the paint there's a Toyota Camry.

How about this one, who knows what car is underneath the telephone.
