My main argument for leaving Iraq is simple

No matter how long we stay in Iraq, when we leave, it's government will STILL end up Anti-American because the PEOPLE of Iraq ARE ANTI-AMERICAN!

So, can we please leave NOW!

they are building the largest "embassy" in the world, and 14 military bases. They are doing this last-ditch effort to "cleanse" Baghdad so they can make it "Fort Apache". All the big oil companies and related contractors will have offices in the "green zone" - probably in the embassy - and that little hint about the civilian service corps is really a huge mercenary army that will protect the oil fields. Once the US military secures it, the place will be turned over to the big business interests who were behind it all along, and they will run it just like Saddam did. After all, CACI does security; was behind Abu Ghraib. KKR provides food and contaminated water, Blackwater provides transportation...

bush just wants to keep the us military there long enough that his buddies can be firmly established. Cheney will go back to being CEO of Halliburton, and maybe they'll put bush in charge of the soccer team or something.
