60th anniversary of People's Republic of China
yesterday...heard from acquaintance made traveling on email saying "I'm certain you heard of our big anniversary...and all the parades" he was so proud..am embarrassed to say...never heard a thing. Anyone else hear anything?

1. Yeah, Rachel showed the women marching thru the st. in mini-dress uniforms
with go-go boots; all while carrying machine guns.. the pretty face of "fuck off and die" I suppose.. its why the Chinese pd to have the empire st. building lit up red for them.

5. Yes, infact I saw much of the celebration live
on a local Asian cable station here in Los Angeles. It was much like the opening and closing ceremony of the Olympics, lots of fireworks, marching and in-sync turning of cards. It was quite beautiful and very impressive. I only wish I could have understood the narration.
