Health care reform: deny tax breaks for exec pay for certain insurers.

The Senate Finance committee "voted 14-8 to deny compensation deductions for annual pay over $500,000 for executives of insurers that derive at least 25 percent of their premium income from people required to obtain coverage."

Although there may be serious problems with this health care plan, this one item is really neat. Now, they should take this idea and apply it to all corporations that overpay their executives. Shouldn't corporations pay their taxes first and THEN they can overpay their executives? It's really common sense.

2. "Annual pay" isn't saying much

Most of these clowns only make $1mm or so a year. The other $25mm comes in bonuses and stocks.
