I'm a quiet, studious young professional seeking a room to rent in a spacious mansion - preferably owned by an insurance company CEO.
The CEO of UnitedHealth Inc. brings home $5,700 per hour in salary. That's not too shabby. I figure you can buy a lot of Ben & Jerry's and Heineken on that salary - and I will totally be raiding your fridge at night. In return, you can play my Nintendo Wii ANY TIME YOU LIKE. It totally helps you relax, dude. And I'm guessing that with all the stress of denying people coverage for life-saving procedures, you could use a little re-lax-at-ion.
As far as rent, we'll have to work out some kind of deal. You see, I'm unable to afford quality health insurance, and have a chronic condition. My insurance only covers catastrophic accidents - so I'm all set if I sever a limb, but for my insulin shots, I've got to pay 100% out-of-pocket. And at the end of the day, that leaves very little for rent. When I'm down, I try to remember that I'm one of the millions struggling with cost of health insurance. 62% of all bankruptcies in this country are caused by medical debt, and the vast majority of those people had health insurance. (At least I haven't had to declare bankruptcy.)
So, whaddya say? Want to be roomies?
(p.s. Cats are okay, but dogs - especially the kind that guard large, sprawling properties like yours, kind of freak me out.)
