I saw "Capitalism, a Love Story" and don't feel so alone!
Sometimes I get on here and forget my flame suit when ranting about Obama appointing the same damn foxes to guard the hen house.
But tonight I feel like I'm not the only one who sees what the hell has happened to America. Thank the Grand Poobah for Michael Moore.

The area I'm in is pretty churchy and Republican -lots of shiny new SUV's with Jesus fishies on the back- and the theater was 30% full Saturday night.
PUHLEEEZ people, go see this film! The righties buy truckloads of Colter's books to prop her up on the best seller list. And seeing the weak attendance was a bit sad. I agree with Mike 100% we gotta do something and the Democrats are mostly Republicans now.

2. There was no applause afterward, surprisingly.
I'm a quiet person and didn't try breaking any ice, but wanted to jump up and cheer. Funny that the cartoon dog film, "Up" got an ovation and Capitalism didn't. But I saw "Up" in a pretty liberal area's theater. Moore's movie poster was hanging there even though it wont play there until after it leaves major theaters.

4. I saw it in a Los Angeles suburb, actually a fairly wealthy area,
and the audience applauded throughout the film. The theatre was about 3/4 full. This movie deserves to be seen. I hope good word of mouth brings in the curious. It will open eyes.

6. I think a lot of people on both sides of the political spectrum don't want to face...........
the dire situation unregulated capitalism has put US in. Our economic situation is far worse than most are willing or want to admit and Michael Moore's movie puts our economic reality directly in their face. Not facing our train wreck economic and financial realty will be the fuel that drives our nation into the ground. It is difficult to applaud the extremely daunting task that is required to deter our ruination.

8. I lent "Roger & Me" out until it didn't come back
I think of myself as a reverse propagandist.

9. Watching that movie made me feel as if I was coming home from
a long stay in a foreign country.

I love being in a crowd where the responses of the people are in tune with mine.

10. I started to clap after the Kucinich clip
but would've been the only one. So I played it cool and chickened out. I guess I'm getting old and less radical. ZZZzzz:boring:

11. Where I live
only the really large theaters like AMC etc were showing his movie which pissed me off. Anyway, I still did get to see it, and at the end most applauded.
Granted, it was Sunday night and there was maybe 50 people in the large theater but it was still a pretty cool response.

God, I wish Michael Moore would rent a plane and drop these movies in parachuted bundles down onto the most rabid right wing parts of this country.
