Poll question: We are waiting for Obama to show the very wealthy they are citizens of America NOT the owners
The bottom line in health care reform, reforming Wall Street and banks, energy, and even foreign policy is that we are waiting for Obama to show the very wealthy that they are citizens of this country not the owners, who can command the government to take actions that endanger and even harm the vast majority.

In at least one of those areas I listed, we don't want to see the sociopathic parties negotiated with and placated but instead humbled and neutered.

That was a quote from Matt Damon's "Mother" character from "The Good Shepherd" - but it was a real quote, given by NY Gov Al Smith, a rich and moneyed person who also tried to depose Roosevelt.

12. I'm sure it's not, but if the public knew who was doing it and why, they would be less
likely to support similar wars in the future and less likely to use the products of the company that cost their kid a limb, got their face burned off, or got them killed fighting to increase their corporate profits a few percentage points.
