Whom should I call tomorrow re a strong Public Option?
I had to battle a system virus this week, so I'm kind of behind the curve on what went on with the vote.

Who needs to hear from me/us regarding their support or lack thereof for a strong Public Option? - Please and Thank You!

4. Not obfuscated by co-operatives or "triggers", not handicapped by
being the absolute last resort available ONLY after private insurance refuses the coverage.

At least aided by somekind of Medicare expansion would be a positive. Available to everyone. Expansion, or at least the eventual possibility of expansion, in health services covered would be strong, while, of course, not losing the ban on pre-existing conditions and ending recision.

John Boehner just issued a challenge.

Today, he told a reporter, "I'm still trying to find the first American to talk to who's in favor of the public option, other than a member of Congress or a member of the administration. I've not talked one and I get to a lot of places. I've not had anyone come up to me -- I know I'm inviting them -- and lobby for the public option. This is about as unpopular as a garlic milkshake."1

I'm emailing you today because you live in Ohio, and maybe even in Boehner's district. Thanks to you, Health Care for America Now is known in the media for responding quickly to events like this. Can you give him a call and tell him your an American and you support a public health insurance option?

Here's the number for Boehner's office in Washington:

(202) 225-6205

Then call your Congressman and Senators regardless of their position. The opposition is calling them, trust me.

Baucus, hmmmmm, those are the ones that immediately pop to mind.

7. Thank you, thank you . . . Those are the ones Thom Hartmann mentioned, but then
I went and lost all my software to a virus sweep, so until I replace iTunes I can't replay that sound file and I can't replace iTunes until I find out what the virus did to my bank card.

I will call all of them tomorrow.

:hi:
