Heard someone say that on TV earlier today. Forgot who it was. But it sure was a good line.

1. Bill Maher? In any case, many reenactors are progressives . . .
who engage in reenacting because it's fun. Just because there are guns involved, doesn't mean it's necessarily regressive.

Unless you are a Confederate. But even they have great respect for our battlefields, which greedy corporations and developers want to dismantle.

5. Civil War re-enactor here...
Union civilian re-enactor to be precise. For us West Virginians, the Civil War is our beginning, a critical part of our history.

It's true, that a lot of re-enactors are somewhere to the right of Attila the Hun, but don't tar all of us with the same brush.

6. Wouldn't the Confederate reenactors have to be Democrats? I believe that
was the party of the South then.
