Can you *believe* that the Nobel committee doesn't credit Republicans with fostering worldwide peace?

3. Funny that it's the Democrats who start all of America's wars.
I'm sorry, that's not funny, it's sad and pathetic.

4. Yes, FDR bombed Pearl Harbor and faked Germany's declaration of war
against the US.

And it was that lifelong Democrat, George W. Bush, who invaded Iraq.

9. Yes Wilson started World War I
And FDR started World War II.

Right.

Have you EVER opened a history book? I thought ignorance of history was relegated to the likes of Kevin James. "APPEASEMENT, Chris, APPEASEMENT!"

Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated by Gavrilo Princip, that well-known Democratic Party operative!

Don't YOU read history? :spank:

So yes, started the American involvement in World War II. You know that's exactly what I meant. Is that all you got, cheap school yard insults?

I can see your point in your list, why include FDR when it's completely different from the other situations?

We were attacked at Pearl Harbor. Remember that? Oh those evil war-mongering Americans! Oh if they had given the Imperial Japanese a chance to explain themselves! :eyes:

27. Yes, lots of countries were involved...
Edited on Fri Oct-09-09 12:18 PM by LeftishBrit
you can't have it both ways. If you acknowedge rightly that lots of our countries were involved in winning the war, you must also acknowledge that it was raging LONG before FDR got involved.

But thanks to FDR for his great contribution to defeating the Nazis. (On a selfish level, if Hitler had won, I would probably never have existed...)

20. Wilson got us into WWI because of the Lusitania and the Zimmermann note.
We didn't get into WWII until Pearl Harbor--WE WERE ATTACKED FIRST.

I expect you've forgotten Iraq and Afghanistan--boy, it really stunk when President Al Gore declared war for no reason on both those countries, didn't it?

8. Democrats started the Iraq and Afghanistan wars?
Dang, and here I'd been laboring under the misconception that the Supreme Court awarded the 2000 election to George W. Bush. Al Gore really did get more votes and won after all! And then that fucker invaded Afghanistan and Iraq. Damn. I gotta go burn my copy of Earth in the Balance.
