NASA's got a present for the Moon Landing Denial crowd:

Yeah, I know, you can't see much (and that could be faked, as well, huh? Although no one ever seems to answer how scientists have been bouncing lasers off of the reflectors left by the Apollo Astronauts for 40 years)

However, according to NASA, "Future LROC images from these sites will have two to three times greater resolution."

Ruh-Roh!

1. Any proof they had (or didn't have) disspapeared today.
Its probably why they blew it to pieces in the first place.

4. They imaged ALL the landing sites, too
The Apollo 15 site -- I think it was 15 -- is probably the best. I think the lunar rover was also seen. (It's been several weeks since I saw the whole set).

5. Sadly, you can't argue with the tin-hats.
They're convinced, with the firmness of a frothing zealot, that their paranoid crap is true. You can't fix stupid.

7. Some people won't be satisfied 'til they can see Al Shepard's balls up there with their own eyes.
I'm talking about his GOLF balls!

Sheesh.

12. Alan Shepard was a True American Hero.
When reporters asked Shepard what he thought about as he sat atop the Redstone rocket, waiting for liftoff, he had replied, 'The fact that every part of this ship was built by the low bidder.'

Every aviator is familiar with "Shepard's Prayer".

I just love me science.

Oh and you can't really argue with stoopid, can't be cured. Whether it is the moon landings or the vaxers, or what have you.

15. I've been waiting to see one of these impact sites
Largest man-made features on the lunar surface.

http://thoughtcrimewave.blogspot.com/2009/08/looking-for-alice.html

I have not found a name for these experiments, so I have come up with my own: Apollo Lunar Impact Crater Experiment (ALICE). Also named in honor of Alice Kramden from The Honeymooners.

11. My Grandmother told me this story...
My Grandparents both worked for North American Aviation, North American Rockwell, then Rockwell. Both of them retired from Rockwell. She said this story circulated amongst Rockwell employees...

Neil Armstrong was descending the ladder, and Buzz Aldrin was on the top step, waiting his turn. Neil Armstrong put his foot in the moondust, and picked it up. He said to Buzz in a back channel: "Hey Buzz, there are footprints down here".

Buzz Aldrin stepped back into the airlock.

16. Sounds about as likely as
"Good luck Mr. Gorsky"

http://www.snopes.com/quotes/mrgorsky.asp

Happily for human achievement (but sadly for the history of comedy) those two were pretty serious when it came to the firsts.

18. It sounds like a joke.
As in, Neil fucking with Buzz.

Which I don't think happened, either. Those guys took their jobs pretty darn seriously.
