A BETTER IDEA, I think, re: Grayson Donations, CONTRIBUTION TWO-STEP.
The other day, I commented that if we didn't want congresscritters to be money oriented we maybe shouldn't reward them with donations. Clearly I'm being unrealistic, I knew that then. But I've been thinking since then that by ActBlue'ing them we aren't really able to send a message to our own congresscritters, nearly as well as we could.

In our red state here, everyone, I mean EVERYONE says that our blue dem congresscritter would never be able to get re-elected if he didn't act like a red-whore-bitch (canine definition intended here). I think they are wrong, so....

AFTER CONTRIBUTING TO GRAYSON, who is not anywhere near going to do me or my district any good at all, I WILL BE SENDING A COPY OF THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL TO MY CONGRESS CRITTERS BOTH RED AND BLUEDOG, so they can see our money going out of state and away from them!

We can call it the CONTRIBUTION TWO-STEP.

1. Great thinking.
Hopefully Grayson will indirectly do the whole U.S. good by shifting the debate.

2. BRILLIANT. I often donate to candidates outside my district.
I will be sending my "representatives" a copy of my donation each and every time from now on.
THANK YOU

4. Yes, they need to know that folks in their state are contributing to Grayson or
whomever isn't a BlueDog, or a Repub. Otherwise the politician simply sees Grayson's $$s go up and say to themselves and others, "It's those MA dems or those CA dems," they don't recognize the # in their states, their districts.

5. I thought so, but apparently only 9 others agreed. Oh, well, I tried.

6. K&R (12) - great idea!
I'm going to do it.

They need to understand that the donations to Grayson & others are not just from certain states but all over.

It seems like a few others in the House have started speaking up more lately too...needs to be more.

7. Kicking
My Blue Dog, Walt Minnick, could stand a little of this treatment.
