I'd love to see her go directly against Beck.

1. Super idea! I might watch MSNBC on the weekend.
The lineup on MSNBC on the weekend is just a turnoff unless you want to spend time watching the inside of one our lovely hell hole prisons.

2. Steph is the perfect blend of snark, wit, and intelligence.
I read on recently that the most effective way to disempower the RW is by poking fun at them, ala Billionaires for Wealthcare. The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are making an impact with humor and I agree that Steph would, too.

MSNBC is a wasteland on the weekends. It's as if they turned the weekend production into Bizarro World.

6. The problem is that the ratings for news channels on the weekends is so small,
it'd be an insult to her and a money waster for MSNBC.

7. In the times I've heard her on the radio, she leaves the impression that
no matter what project or program she'd be involved with would be far better off with her on board.

She seems like someone with multiple gifts. And thank god she's playing for our team and not theirs.

I'm for your idea. And I think the contract terms should be very generous.
