NeighborGoods: Why buy when you can borrow for free?
Some ideas are too good to pass up. Has anyone else seen this?

NeighborGoods gives you a look at the neat tools waiting in your neighbor's garage -- ready for you to borrow for free!

2. Interesting idea but it takes a lot of trust that the item will be returned.

4. Yeah it does.
But I can say this. On my street at least I know and trust my neighbors, and I live in a tough area. If people can open up just a little great strides can be made.

There was a time when there was nothing like the bond between neighbors, and I think more than ever, we need to rekindle that for everyone.

6. and...
if/when returned it is still in the same condition as when it was loaned. I never loan out anything electrical or gasoline powered. Chain saws, electrical drills and saws, lawn mowers, carpet cleaners, vacume cleaners. This I have learned from sad experience.

5. Interesting idea, cool concept. I'm a little leery of the format, since it has
so much location identifiers. Would be better, imho, if more general. Contact info, town, neighborhood.

Thanks for the post.

7. I like your idea.
It's not in my neighborhood, but I love the direction and I'd love to see it take off elsewhere.
