1. Yeah cause those Taliban
are such nice guys. I'm sure with all the killing of women and homosexuals they'll have to do when they get back in power they won't have the time or inclination to go and help out bin Laden again.

2. Women and homosexuals are dying there anyways.

The Taliban are not going away. They will never go away. The best thing we can do is let them take over that shithole and let them do what they want.

3. And we've done such a good job of stopping them in 8 years right?
Edited on Tue Oct-13-09 05:00 PM by lunatica
We couldn't even stop them from coming back and basically taking everything except two square miles in Kabul. But you think we should keep meddling with them. We should never have gone in with our military in the first place. A small special ops group and a drone plane could have gotten Bin Laden years ago.

5. Saw some video from Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon)...
...over the weekend.
If this is what happens when the American Military LEAVES, then I'm all for it.

Out NOW.

No MIlitary Objective + No Exit Strategy = Quagmire
Nobody WINS except the War Profiteers.

6. But..but..we "have to fight them over there" and "smoke 'em out"!!
And, it's "a war of necessity" according to the new decider.
