Hot Air may be a rabid rightwing blog aligned with Michelle Malkin, but they're right about one thing: if Ahmedinejad's personal spiritual adviser ends up at the top of the heap, the Isrealis will be sending the bombers the next day.

Let's hope the rumor is not true and that Khamanei's got a better way planned of handing off his power, in any event...

4. Death is always an inconvenience.
But his would be more than some. Khamenei is the real power in Iran, not Ahmadinejad. Depending on who replaces him, we could see considerable change for the better or for the worse in Iran.
