Poor Mika. A budding career as a RW shrill going down in flames before her eyes. Mika,didn't your father teach you that words mean something and you can't go around spreading hate speech without people objecting.

vocation, claiming he is the victim of distortion and smears has just taken the irony charts into the stratosphere.

I think that Rush lives in a bubble where he only speaks before adoring crowds of morans and teabaggers and only gets calls from the same and discovers to his shock that he is reviled by a large percentage of the American population. He's sussch a great sports fan and then finds out that the ATHLETES himself want nothing to do with him and then he spends all his time claiming how misunderstood he is. No, Rush, the opposite is true. You are COMPLETELY understood.

6. The Young Turks played a clip from his radio show

Where he was trying to backtrack on one or two statements in the past, trying (and failing) to explain what he really meant, and they noted he sounded really depressed, and they hypothesized that it's because Rush is so used to getting what he wants and is used to being able to blow through any other controversy he creates with money or more talk, and it's not working this time, and it's rocking his world.
