Where's the little boy?
Was it a hoax, or did he fall out?

I hope it was just a hoax.

1. Yeah, he was in a barn the whole time.

I remember this from when I was little.

5. I thought the exact same thing.

I just re-watched that movie two days ago and it's the first thing that came to mind.

on edit: I removed my "haha" because I just realized that this may still have a tragic ending, since they still don't seem to know where the boy is. I certainly hope he's ok and that it is a hoax.

2. Some folks are saying it's a hoax
If so, the parents should be jailed.

9. I'm sure child protective services will be by to check them out
regardless of whether it was a hoax or not.

3. We've all been pwned!
Schuster suggested the family is a bit weird and perhaps wanted some publicity?

I hope he didn't fall out-guess we'll find out.

6. Our noble media has been fooled again (willingly)
I was suspicious there was a child in there from the beginning, and even if there were, there was little reason to follow the thing like a white Ford Bronco for the last hour and a half. Split screen would have been fine, or running headlines at the bottom.

If this was indeed a hoax, this family ought to be sued for the cost of the helicopters, rescue teams, and even news coverage.
