Dad's an unstable kook. Probably knew the balloon never had enough lift for the kid. And apparently the "box" isn't big enough for a kid.

6. For a self proclaimed "scientist" his math seems suspect.
That balloon filled with helium could NEVER lift itself and a 50lb. boy. Physics.

Free tracking and great footage of his experimental balloon - and no questions, because "think of the children!" Forget physics, and that not being a big enough helium balloon to lift a 6 year old kid. Just get out the hankies.
