I can't imagine what life might be like on the GP... it would be just massively cluttered with duplicate threads about completely unimportant and irrelevant crap.

I know you started the thread, but I don't recall ever paying any attention to your posts. Please stop thinking the world is out to get you, or that I care what you post.

I couldn't name a single topic you've posted about other than this one, and don't have any idea what causes you hate or champion.

You clearly either have some kind of fixation on the Unrec feature, or you just spend all your time on DU responding to anything everyone says. I haven't posted anything about Unrec since July until now - do a search and point out where I'm wrong. But I post something 3 months later and you're instantly there. And then you ask if I'm "still whining daily" - when in fact, I have not been posting about Unrec for 3 months and if I had been, clearly you'd be there and know about it. (I just did a search on you combined with Unrec and there are six pages of it.)

One of us clearly needs to get a life.

It's a topic some here like to discuss. You're one such person and I'm another such person. Just like every other discussion here.

What is so difficult to accept that other posters disagree with you over what warrants Unrecommending? Do you expect other posters to agree with you about guns, gay issues, religion, taxes, Wall street, Obama, etc.?

The Unrecommend topics are always started by people who hate the feature, and they always contain an attack on those who use the feature. As long as you start such threads, I'll show up to argue the other side. Why? Because it is a topic that matters to me. I don't believe the board should ever be held hostage by whining posters who think they can nag others into letting them have their way.

How does not saying anything for 3 months equate to "holding the board hostage, whining, nagging others into letting them have their way"? And besides, in this thread - my first since July about the Unrec function - I was essentially inviting people to use the Unrec feature. In fact I myself visited each Balloon thread afterwards and added my unrec. But hey, if you think you're making the world safe from "whining, nagging, hostage-taking posters" then whatever. Enjoy your crusade.
