FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Questions about Thursday's worldwide balloon boy odyssey were swirling Friday after the 6-year-old boy involved seemed to say it was all a stunt.

3. I wouldn't have trusted a 6-year-old to help pull off hoax

Of course, from what I read about the family and the father,they probably WANTED to get caught. In fact, they ARE the show right now. This is what they wanted all along.

4. It's said that he called the media before they called 911.

Recording of mom with 911 said that husband had called FAA.

Matthews show said media was called before 911.

That's the dad and mom, not the kid...

They probably did it to avoid a fine for letting this thing loose

Larry the Lawnchair guy was fined $1500..and that was a LONG time ago.. It;s probably a lot more now..

6. On the wife shop show

(from a picture I saw yesterday - I don't watch that brain sucking clap trap) they are pictured standing in front of the "flying saucer" Maybe the kid's statement is simply rlated to the fact that they originally made it for the show.

I do not for a minute, however, deny the possibility that it was a hoax.
