How will we know when we are firmly in a new progressive era? What will be the most important indicator to you?

1. I went with public funding since all the other issues will be altered by that change in the process

When a zombie Teddy Roosevelt arises from the grave and resurrects the Bull-Moose Party. That scenario is probably more likely to happen than single payer and public financing of elections in today's America.

6. all of the above--and that would only be the beginning;
not only do we have to guard against backsliding into unfavorable policies, laxity, corruption, etc., reform would have to be an ongoing process

we couldn't have some politicos saying, "We supported this reform, why should I support this new one?"
