The Prez in Freeperville, Texas

President Obama stopped by College Station, Texas home of Texas A & M University and the George Bush Presidential Libary (Not misspelled that how they say it).

I didn't get to go to the event in the Rudder Auditorium on campus but I got something better. When I got off work I went to a store. There was a couple ahead of me in line wearing shirts that had phrases in sequins on their backs - the man YES WE CAN the woman - MR. PRESIDENT.

They turned around and there he was, yes, THAT ONE, in sequins as well.

They did not get in to the hall but stationed themselves where Mr. Obama would enter- they saw him and he must've liked the shirts because he looked right at them and smiled.

The lady told me that she sees B*ush senior and junior often as she works on campus near the libary. I said she should where that shirt one time when they were there- said she'd likely get fired.

It was so good to see black people filled with pride for one of their own and not an athlete- indeed - THE AUDACITY OF HOPE!
