Last word on Balloon boy bullSHIT.
1. From the very start, the family KNEW there was NO basket attached to the apparatus.
Thus, THEY LIED. This is evident from the video taken as the thing took off.

2. The dumb ASS father had constructed the thing, and thus KNEW there was no where and no WAY
that the boy could have been aboard, and yet he called the local news to report his son missing in the dumb fucking thing.

3. As the world watched for hours, assuming the boy was in the base of the fucking thing,
the father knew all along that it was not remotely possible, and yet continued to claim his child was in there.

4. The mother fucking parents should be in jail. No?

4. Let's send the parents up in a balloon-
Perhaps the kids will have a chance at a normal childhood then.
These ass clowns are a danger to kids everywhere.

2. I don't know about jail but someone should take a good look at the kids.
People that are that obsessed generally aren't taking very good care of kids.

5. JAIL- they wasted untold resources on their media whoring escapade.
Edited on Sat Oct-17-09 02:27 AM by BeHereNow
If you or I staged such a hoax, I can assure you we would face consequences.
They knew all along the boy was not in the damned contraption.
They built it and had video of it leaving the yard.

6. Actually they said very early on that he wasn't on-board
Apparently there was some type of contraption attached to it that could have potentially held him, but it dropped off early on. It's really more of a media spectacle that led people to believe he was carried 50 miles away.

7. The video taken in their yard clearly shows-
NO, NADA, NOTHING attached to the contraption.
Thus, evidence of another LIE.
There never was anything attached to it that the boy could have been in.
They LIED.

11. There does appear to be a round structure on the bottom of the device
I'm not saying it was a hoax or wasn't. Personally I've been leaning toward the hoax side from the beginning, but it defies all logic that there was no structure attached that would have been capable of carrying at least a very small payload. If not, then this is perhaps the most moronic hoax ever perpetrated that I've ever seen.

12. YES, my point exactly.
The asshole who built the thing KNEW that the small round structure at the base
was not capable of carrying a cat, much less his son.
The fucking parents used up media airtime, state rescue resources and who knows
what else, ALL THE WHILE KNOWING their son could not have POSSIBLY been aboard.

Meanwhile, troops are dying in the ME, people are losing everything, and
there are MUCH more important things to spend money on in this dying country
than some BULLSHIT story contrived by attention seeking lunatics.

JAIL. DCS intervention for the children of these whack jobs.

21. It's pissing me off that the media are still tiptoeing around this HOAX. There was NEVER anyway the
kid was "in" that balloon - and the parents knew it. There was no basket - was he supposed to be inside the actual balloon with the helium??

Dad calls the TV STATION for help??

We're also to believe that the kid had food stashed in the ATTIC??!!!

Also, did you see the video where Falcon shows how he jumped up and climbed into the attic? Problem is, I saw him jump 3 times, and the never could pull himself up into the attic. Of course then the camera cut to something else. Someone had to help him up there.

Finally, the kids' eyes as Mom and Dad were LYING to the world said it all.

25. That's what is coming out and why they are being charged-
Good.
They destroyed a great deal with their hoax, including the farmers crop.
And the damage to their kids?
No words.

16. Pretty clear from the backyard video that-
1) There was no basket hanging off the balloon...what took off was what landed.
2) Dad and Mom were there at launch....someone lied, that their older son told them.
3) Dad, the psuedo-scientist, must have known that the balloon dimensions and the displacement buoyancy of helium wouldn't support the weight of the child.

Dad seems pissed at Mom when it floats away...seems strange that they'd suddenly hatch an unrelated hoax on the spur of the moment. They might have gotten away with it with a little better planning, but the real lesson learned is that 6 YO's don't make very good co-conspirators.

10. Just had a better idea of what to do with the parents...
Send them to a James Ray "sweat lodge."

I am furious that the DCS has not intervened-
these kids need protection from their idiot parents-
as witnessed by their media stunts, with no concern what so ever
about the effect on their kids.

13. I Was Expecting Tragic News
Until I actually saw the video of the contraption floating away, obviously empty.

The child's on-camera quote and reaction after the fact tells the story. The parents need to be handled for filing the false report and everything that entails.

14. You think that's the last word? You are an optimist . . .
Their 15 minutes isn't up yet, and the media still drooling. Added together, I think we've got at least a week with these people, with intermittent eructations over the next year as various court actions sputter and fizz along.

I heard they were already on something called "Wife Swap"? And the sheep of this country will continue to tune in to the trash that the idiot box spews.

And couldn't even get the story straight.

These people are pseudo actors. Why are the Colorado authorities falling for their story?

23. Point number 4, YES. The kids are either neglected and/or abused, and Federal, state,
and local resources were wasted on a glory grab.

That couple is vile.
