Boehner Admits He's Heard From Supporters of Public Option
http://fwix.com/share/20_36555dc16f

In the wake of a flood of visits, calls, petitions from eighth district voters who support the public option, John Boehner is finally hearing the message. The Congressman now admits he has received calls from people who support the public option. Audio from press conference here.

No word yet on whether this epiphany will lead to a change of heart for the House Minority Leader, but perhaps it does indicate a teency tiny baby step in the general direction of the reality-based community.

1. Boehner won't care. Have another smoke and another drink, John.
Your corporate owners will take care of you, and you will make sure to take care of yourself.

To hell with the people you represent. If they were smart they wouldn't have voted for you in the first place, right? :puke:

2. Kinda hard to have a change of heart when you don't have one to begin with.
Boehner only gives a shit about what his constituents think when it's an election year.

His district includes about the most economically depressed part of Ohio. For every signature on those petitions, there's probably a boatload more people who also favor the public option.

3. He's decided to retreat into his tanning salon to meditate on the subject
It's where he does his best thinking.
