KISS used to go out and buy out the record store of KISS records, driving up demand

Of course with the GOP, instead of driving up demand, they just keep buying them

"popularity" of KISS. Thanks (I think).

Some of the marketing tricks they did were years ahead of their time

only they haven't expected anybody to pay for the stupid things. They've always offered them free with subscriptions, making me think they were able to bulk buy at a really nominal price, maybe the cost of printing plus 10% for publisher profit.

Palin's base doesn't read. The only thing driving book store sales will be Xmas gag gifts.
