I'm on Facebook because of family, too, and I never even see these polls people end up talking about here.

One friend sends me these stupid quizzes occasionally, like what kind of flower are you. I started to do one once, but it required that I give the writers of the application access to all my personal information and that of all my friends, and I said, "Fuck, no!"

I'm just there for family and a few friends for pictures and personal news. Period.

It took a few weeks, but I believe I've finally mastered all the various levels of "privacy" control, and I think I've blocked or disabled all of those apps.
