Today I was in my republican niece's area of town and they were
repaving her whole street for two or three blocks. They had a big sign stuck in the ground saying something like "Putting America to work, paid for by the stimulus fund. America Recovery Act."

I had to call her up because she was alway complaining about the pot holes on her street. I called her up and said "I see Obama is fixing up your street and putting people to work." At first she didn't know what to say, but finally admitted that she was glad for the work being done.

Thought I'd share that with you guys.

I understand a large portion of the Recovery Act money has yet to be spent.

I'm happy to see the money put to work fixing the infrastructure, and giving jobs to a few people. Too cool that you got added benefits!

5. Thats the third of fourth project being done in our city, that I've seen. They sure are putting them
to work. No little jobs, either.
